Jennifer and
her son Hudson LOVE the ARTISTIC MEN!! Jennifer said that from beginning to end
she would give this dealership two thumbs up!
The crew did
an outstanding job with the pool. Moreover their manner, disposition and
professionalism is commendable.
As far as the job sign goes, not only did Jennifer allow it in front of her
house but she has suggested to Mark to put a permanent ARTISTIC sign by her
bulkhead behind the house in full view of all the passerby boats. Jennifer
claims that this offer proves how proud and happy she is with her pool project.
The ONLY extra thing that she would have liked would have been to get more than
three feet of concrete.
JENNIFER'S
POOL WAS CLOSED FOR THE SEASON BEFORE THE WALK THROUGH. THIS PHASE WILL BE
COMPLETED IN SPRING.
As far as her
pool's appearance goes, Jennifer claims that she is amazed at the number of
passerby boats who stop by to look and admire her pool.
The pool's
clean look and low maintenance have made such an impression on Jennifer that she
is considering installing a similar pool at her year round residence in
Washington.
Jennifer
contacted another pool company that she found on line. The sales person gave her
the run around until Jennifer's cousin referred her to ARTISTIC POOLS.

John Decesare Project

John said that
ARTISTIC did a fantastic job through out this project including the sales phase.
In regards to the selection of the ideal pool, John mentioned that he already
had strong ideas about the style that he was interested in.
John said that
everything was top notch during this phase. John is very impressed and pleased
with Mark's availability if and when he is needed.
John said that not only was he already given a tour,but he is being offered a
second tour to finish the job. This is another example of mark's follow through
to ensure the customer's satisfaction.
John was impressed with the easy and the fast installation.
Mark's electrician earns John's praise. John said that all of his electrical
installations were done perfectly.

Shawn Besu Project |

Shawn began by
stating that ARTISTIC'S performance through out the project was outstanding.
Obtaining the permits was a bit problematic but not to the point that would
effect ARTISTIC'S scores.
Shawn oohed
and aahed at every question to express his extreme satisfaction with this phase
of the project.
Shawn said
that he is extremely pleased with the appearance of his pool.
In regards to time frame, Shawn boasted that his pool was completed within one
week while it took his neighbor(another pool company)three months to finally
enjoy his pool.
Shawn once
again reiterated that ARTISTIC'S performance is outstanding.
Shawn said
that the only "negative" aspect of his pool project was the cost. He said that
ARTISTIC'S figures were much higher than the competitor but then again you get
what you pay for.
The short installation time period not only impressed Shawn but it also captured
his neighbor's attention.

Joe Deshay’s Project |

Joe is a landscape architect and his partner
is a chemical engineer. Joe and his partner custom design pools for high end
homes. They are in the process of opening another office in Miami. The 85ft. by
40ft. yard in this house is by the bay and the project cost about a quarter of a
million dollars.
Joe said that Mark is an outstanding
San Juan representative and he was excellent in helping his partner and him in
picking out the perfect pool for this family. Joe mentioned that this pool is a
"glorified spa" that is ideal for the kids' entertainment.
Joe could not be happier with Mark's
work. Joe works with six other pool contractors and he rates them as a "-5"
compared to Mark. Once this project was almost completed, the owner asked to
change the location of the pool equipment so that a shower could be installed in
its place. Mark and his crew gladly obliged and "moved" the equipment to
another site.
Joe states that Mark's skills and
workmanship are as good as it gets.
Joe reiterated that Mark is
milestones above the other six pool contractors who he deals with (some of these
pools cost over $300,000!). He also added that on any particular job, he is
usually in contact with ten to fifteen contractors. Mark is the only contractor
that returns his calls within one hour. Mark's availability and diligency in
returning calls is greatly appreciated.
Joe said that his partner and he
think so highly of San Juan's quality that it has become the pool of their
choice for all of their pool projects which require a pre-determined size or
shape.
San Juan Pools in his opinion offer
the best shapes, sizes and wide stairs and benches.
The length of time required to
install a San Juan pool is spectacular.
1) Joe went to the Las Vegas Pool
Show.
2) He saw San Juan ads in the LUXURY
POOLS MAGAZINE.
3) After he met with Mark a couple of
times, he knew that he had found a great product and a great contractor for his
pool projects.

Mrs. Collan said that ARTISTIC'S
quality of work is outstanding. She also commended them for always being
available and returning calls in a timely manner.
William mentioned right away that he
has nothing but wonderful remarks about the dealer. He gives them an A for an
outstanding job.
Pool delivery was on time and the
staff was professional
The staff was extremely professional,
courteous and knowledgeable
William Collan said that he would not
change any thing about the dealer's peformance. They did an outstanding job
from all aspects.
The pool was ready in minimal time
and little disturbance to their household.

Mr. Thom Project
Mr Thom mentioned that he is a
landscape architect and he mapped out the location of his pool and the deck. He
went on to say that he has no doubt that Mark and his crew are so capable and
skilled that they can build anything that is asked of them.
Rich Martucci Project
Mentioned that he thinks the world
of Mark's workmanship. He added that he works right through these projects with
Mark and he has seen over two hundred installations. Mark's quality of
installation and workmanship is such that the job is completed smoothly and in a
timely fashion each and every time.
Jim Project
As Jim mentioned previously, he did
not hold high expectations for the pool project, nevertheless he was pleasantly
surprised at the sight of his beautiful pool.

Heather said that ARTISTIC's
workmanship is as close to perfect as can be. The overall project looks
beautiful.
Heather said that Mike is the reason
they purchased the San Juan products. Initially the Nelsons spoke to Mike on
the phone and after they met with him they were impressed with his knowledge,
his personality and his presentation. They could have installed another brand
of pool for less money but because of Mark their decision swayed towards San
Juan.
They researched fiberglass pools and
through Mike and ARTISTIC POOLS, they decided to select the San Juan products.

Kevin said that Mark's wealth of
knowledge is not limited to San Juan products. He is very current on the
competitor's products and through his state of the art 3-D computer graphics, he
presented a design that convinced the Uhers to hire him. The price tag for this
project which included the pool, the pavilion and the beach was around $150,000
but it is well worth it!
Kevin LOVES his
pool. In regards to the time frame, Kevin commented that ARTISTIC was actually
too fast! The pavilion was being built at the same time and it was necessary to
wait for one week after the cement was laid. ARTISTIC was very accomodating and
agreed to come back in one week to finish their portion of the project. Kevin
said that his neighbor was astounded at the speed that this project which
included the pool, 3000 square feet of decking, the jacuzzi and the beach was
completed while his pool took nearly six months to be completed.
Kevin said that
ARTISTIC'S workmanship is outstanding. He explained that instead of using
standard tiles, they used one inch tiles which has created a magnificent look.
THE SLIDE!! The slide is such a huge hit with the neighborhood kids that
although 70% of the homes in Kevin's neighborhood have pools, the Uher pool is
THE pool of every one's choice.
Kevin would like to give credit to
the whole crew especially the gentleman(he does not remember his name)who is
charge of the manual labor. HOWEVER, for outstanding service, Kevin's tribute
goes to RICH. Rich showed exceptional knowledge, creativity and dedication. As
an example, Rich suggested to tile the steps that lead to the pavilion with the
same one inch tile that was used for the pool. The end result is awesome!
Kevin began by researching
fiberglass pools. Once he completed that stage, he began to reasearch which
company manufactured a better product. Mark's 3-D presentation sealed the deal
for him. |
Rick Harris Project |
Rick has never met
Mark! Yet he was so impressed by Mark's knowledge, honesty and his dedication to
promptly return phone calls that he chose to sign with ARTISTIC.
In regards to selection of the pool model and the design, Rick mentioned that
due the shape and size of the available space, he already knew which pool he
wanted so he did not require Mark's input.
Rick said that
the crew was very capable, friendly and hardworking. Rick was so involved in
this project that at one point the crew asked him to run to the store to buy
coffee and donuts just to get rid of him for a while.
During this project, Rick was hands on helping the crew to dig a trench with his
excavator and determining the elevation of the pool.
Towards the end of the project, Rick left for Bermuda and upon his return his
stamped concrete decking was completed and it looked great.
Rick mentioned
that when he hires someone, good communication skills are a must. Rick put
Mark's follow up skills to a test when he called Mark (about his filter) while
Mark was eating dinner and he still answered Rick's phone call. Mark and his
crew have been very generous with their time and follow ups.
The pool looks
amazing. Rick went on to say that he was extremely impressed at Mark's ability
to move ahead the installation date from September to July with only ONE phone
call. The project was completed within three days.
According to
Rick, Mark and his crew do an outstanding job.
As great as
Rick's experience has been with Mark and Artistic, he cautions Mark that his
next "mystery" customer might not share the same sentiments. Therefore, Rick
strongly recommends that Mark should meet his customers in person to avoid any
surprises.
Easy maintenance
and the fast installation top Rick's list of what he likes most about his pool.
Rick credits the
whole crew for a job well done.
Rick researched
different fiber glass pools. When it came time to choose THE ONE, he called
several builders to check on how quickly he would get a call back. Mark returned
Rick's call each and every time within a timely manner. |
Frank Gioffre
Project |
Frank started the
survey by expressing that Mark and Mike did as close to a perfect job as it was
humanly possible.
In regards to the perimts, Frank said that he obtained all the paperwork
himself.The construction
phase earned Frank's praise and complete satisfaction.
In regards to the job sign, Frank said that he was never asked about displaying
it.
Frank mentioned
that Mark arranged for a pool company to conduct the walk through tour and this
company does a fine job. Frank has not encountered any problems so far but he is
confident that if he has a maintenance question, all he has to do is to pick up
the phone.
The pool is in
doors and after the non related pool constructions are completed, the Gioffre
family is going to enjoy watching the New Jersey winter through the windows
while sitting in their heated spa and pool.
Frank reiterated
that ARTISTIC'S workmanship is nearly "perfect".
Frank can not
think of anything that Mark needs to change or improve in conducting his
business.
The pool and the
spa are ideal for the Gioffre family
Franks credits
the entire crew for an outstanding job but he named Mark and Mike because they
were his main contacts.
Frank researched
the web and once he contacted Mark, he was convinced to choose a San Juan Pool.

Alex Libassi
Project

Alex told me that
he is so happy with ARTISTIC that the answer to all the questions are a Perfect
5 out of 5. Alex said that
during the entire construction phase, there was not a single problem with
anything.
Alex said that
Mark is always available for follow ups. He recalls that one month after the
installation, one of the pool lights appeared dim. Alex called Mark at 6:30pm
and Mark had the light changed by 7:30am the next day.
The pool's
appearance and design surpasses Alex's expectations.
Overall
Satisfaction with Quality of Installation and Workmanship
Alex said that
Mark's prices are higher than other builders but ARTISTIC is the perfect example
of "...you get what you pay for..."
In Alex's opinion
Mark's business is already a perfect "5" so much so that Alex would consider it
a complement to work for ARTISTIC.
Alex said that he
is thoroughly impressed with the line of San Juan's fiberglass pools and the
state of the art technology that is used to manufacture these pools.
Alex emphatically
mentioned Mike's name for outstanding service.
Alex researched
fiberglass pools and when he called Mark, he was very impressed with Mark's
level of knowledge not only about San Juan products but also about other brands
of fiberglass pools. Another major attribute was Mark's diligence in returning
phone calls in a timely manner. As a matter of fact, Mark answers his phone by
greeting Alex right away, "...Hi, Alex..."

Mrs. Cocci said
that she had originally met with another fiberglass company's sales person whom
she did not care for. When she met with Mark, not only was she impressed with
the San Juan products and Mark's presentation, but she liked the fact that
ARTISTIC was a family run bunsiness.
The only problem in this phase of the project was the loan process. Mrs. Cocci
went to the website pertaining to GE financing. What followed was total
confusion(the wrong division contacted her)which resulted in a long delay. Mrs.
Cocci pointed out that Mark was very patient and stood by her side through this
delay. Mrs. Cocci stated
that during the digging phase, the crew found out that there were a considerable
amount of broken rocks and concrete underneath the soil. The crew had to rent a
special equipment(she paid for it)in order to complete the digging. Other than
this issue, Mrs. Cocci did not encounter any other problems during the
construction phase.
In regards to displaying the job sign, Mrs. Cocci could not recall if she was
asked the question.
Mrs. Cocci LOVES
her pool and the whole project took about one week!
Mrs. Cocci thinks
very highly of Mark and ARTISTIC. In place of suggesting an improvement, Mrs.
Cocci wants to praise Mark for having great character and great work ethic. Mrs.
Cocci cited the following incident as a testimony to Mark's character. The Cocci
family had hired and paid a deposit to a company(referred by Mark)to close their
pool. When it came time to close the pool, Mrs. Cocci could not get a hold of
someone in this company. When Mark found out about this issue, he told Mrs.
Cocci that if this company does not come through for her, he will reimburse her
the deposit and arrange for another company to close her pool.
Mark talked Mrs.
Cocci out of buying a larger pool which was positively the correct decision. BUT
Mrs. Cocci would still like to have a larger pool and she might add a spa to her
existing pool to achieve her wish.
Mrs. Cocci likes
the seating on both ends of the pool.
Mrs. Cocci's
choice of individuals who provided outstanding service is Mark and Jenea.
Mrs. Cocci first
found out about San Juan Pools by researching on line and after she spoke with
Mark she was sold on it. |
John Leshko Project |

Mr. Leshko said that he had researched for his pool project for over three
years. During this time period he never met anyone as knowledgeable and as
patient as Mark. Question after question, Mark would respond without getting
frustrated. In addition, Mark referred Mr. Leshko to two customers who owned a
Mirage and an Atlantic model pool. The customers were very receptive and gave
ARTISTIC stellar reviews. The construction
phase was perfect! In a trade where most companies will try to cut corners,
ARTISTIC offered the best in quality of products and excellence in their
workmanship. The crew was very respectful when they were on Mr. Leshko's
property; they took the utmost care in cleaning up their trash and they would
always ask permission if they needed to use the restroom.
Mark was available at all times he was open to any changes that would have
satisfied Mr. Leshko. As an example while the concrete work was being completed,
he asked Mr. Leshko if anything needed to be changed.
This phase of the
project earned flying colors of approval from Mr. Leshko.
Mr. Leshko said
that the quality of the installation is so superb that when three professional
pool cover manufacturers came over and saw the finished project, they said that
they were amazed at the quality of ARTISTIC'S workmanship.
Mr. Leshko has only
praise for ARTISTIC. He said that Mark, Mike, Joe and Rich are not afraid to get
dirty and ARTISTIC'S motto should read: "....We Do What We Say...."
1)Low Maintenance:
Mr. Leshko's neighbor recently spent over $13,000 maintaining his concrete
pool even though the pool is only a few years old. 2) No Scraping: Bathing suits are not ripped and body parts are not
scraped. 3) Maintains its Good Looks: Unlike vinyl pools that have to be replaced and
the fit is never the same, fiberglass pools maintain their beauty year after
year. 4) State Of The Art Technology: Fiberglass pools are manufactured with the
state of the art technology.
Mark, Joe, Mike
and Rich provided outstanding service through out this project.
Mr. Leshko
researched different pools for three years.

Bruce Painter Project

Mr. Painter
expressed his complete satisfaction with this phase of the project. Mr. Painter's
choice of word to describe the pool shell and the delivery team is
"...Unbelievable..."
Mr. Painter
praised ARTISTIC'S crew and workmanship but he mentioned that there was one
problem after the installation. After the pool was installed and the concrete
was poured, there was a major rainfall which created a two feet deep sink hole.
Mr. Painter called Mark but to his disappointment he was told that the earliest
a crew member could arrive at his site was in one week. That was not a suitable
option for Mr. Painter because of safety (kids could have fallen in the hole)
and also in case the concrete buckled up.
This phase was
completed to Mr. Painter's satisfaction and all his questions were answered.
The pool looks
beautiful not only in Mr. Painter's opinion, but also so have said the people
who have come by to see the pool.
Mr. Painter did
not hesitate to say that ARTISTIC'S workmanship is outstanding.
Mr. Painter began by saying that he
would whole heartedly recommend ARTISTIC and they were a pleasure to work with.
He rates his overall experience with ARTISTIC as a VERY STRONG "4" out of 5 and
the minor deduction is due to the sink hole issue.
In addition, Mr. Painter has the following suggestion:
Make it clear to the customer that the pool will not be completed in two days.
The time frame is closer to one week due to the fact that the ground has to
settle.
Mr. Painter knows
that it is only wishful thinking but he would have loved to pay LESS for his
pool!
Rich's attitude
and dedication to his work is outstanding.

Judy said that
she has no problem in giving ARTISTIC perfect scores for the entire survey.
"....They do perfection...." The delivery team
was wonderful.
Judy began by
stating that the crew did a fantastic job. Then she commented on what ARTISTIC
does that goes over and beyond the call of duty. During the construction, Judy's
grass was torn up because of the heavy equipment trafficking on it. When it came
time for pouring the concrete, Rich noticed the torn grass and used all the
concrete in the truck to make up for the torn grass. Even more impressive is the
fact that Judy was not even there to "supervise" and ask for this favor. This
was entirely because ARTISTIC wants the customer to be completely satisfied.
Judy said that
the equipment was so well labeled that learning how to maintain the pool was
quite simple. A great feature of this phase is that Mark set her up with a pool
service company so that her pool was taken care of from day one.
During this phase of the survey, Judy mentioned that her chlorinater was not
working. She had mentioned this issue to Mark and the pool service person and
they have assured her that upon the opening of the pool, this matter will be
taken care of.
The pool is
gorgeous and so say all of Judy's guests. The concrete work is exceptional; it
is a beautiful "design" that adds to the overall look of the pool.
The tile and
concrete work are proof alone that ARTISTIC'S workmanship is outstanding.
Artistic is already doing a "5"
rated work mainly due to Mark, Janai and Rich. What else can you ask for when
you decide to have a pool in July and a few days later there is a beautiful pool
in your backyard!
Judy loves
EVERYTHING about her pool from the size (its perfect!) to the seats, the lights,
the tile, the concrete...
Rich is Judy's
knight in shining armor. His decision to use the extra concrete to make up for
the torn up grass was extremely gracious and furthermore, Rich's concrete work
is second to none.
Judy researched
on line and her decision to choose San Juan over other fiberglass pool companies
was due to our call backs and followups.

he was sold on fiberglass pools but Mark's sales pitch convinced him to choose
San Juan over other brands of fiberglass pools. The pool delivery
team was wonderful.
Mark, Mike and
their crew were outstanding in this phase of the project. They deserve a perfect
"5" for their workmanship, attitude and hard work.
Michael said that
this is the only phase that was less than perfect. Steve was originally
scheduled to conduct the walk through. Steve could not make it so Mike and
Mark took over. They did a great job but Michael would have appreciated a
"punch list" so that he could refer to it to refresh his memory. 2) Michael
went on to say that after the walk through his pool heater stopped working
and shortly after that his spa heater malfunctioned. Mike and Mark were
terrific in trying their best to repair the heaters and even wanted to take
them out so that they could be replaced. However the manufacturers for the
two heaters(different companies) did not allow that and it took over one
month for the technicians to show up and fix the problem. Michael realizes
that the pool heater companies are responsible for the delay but the end
result was that he and his family were inconvenienced. 3) ARTISTIC uses the latest gadgets and state of the art technology but
their electrician is not fully trained on the equipment and it shows.
The pool is
absolutely beautiful.
Michael began by
stating that Mark and Mike are exceptional professionals. "....they did things
that they did not have to do...." If Michael called or e-mailed them even on the
weekend, he would receive an answer the very next day.
The only suggestions for improvement that Michael feels could enhance ARTISTIC'S
already "perfect" performance are the following:

2) Somehow communicate with the heater company to avoid long delays for

Luisa Amora Project

Luisa said that on the whole she was satisfied with ARTISTIC'S sales phase. Her
chief complaint during this phase is that although ARTISTIC did a fine job of
obtaining all the permits for the township, they were not clear on what permits
were Luisa's responsibility and therefore this mixup delayed her pool project by
two weeks.
The delivery team did a great job.
Luisa described the crew as "top notch" and "easy to talk to". The problem that
occured during this phase was initiated by the CONSERVATION COMMITTEE which has
a higher authority than the township. This committee forbid the installation of
the pool on the flat area that it was originally mapped out and instead the pool
had to be installed on a slope which involved a retaining wall. Luisa does not
fault ARTISTIC for the retaining wall, however, she commented that ARTISTIC did
not check and communicate with her in regard to some of the decisions that
involved the retaining wall and she does fault them for that.
Luisa
said that ARTISTIC arranged a pool company to conduct the walk through. The
filter was not working during this walk through but it was fixed right away.
Louisa said that she would refer ARTISTIC and use them again BUT with more
caution.
In regard to referring the pool, Louisa states that at this point, she has
nothing to compare it to; so far so good.
The
heater is Louisa's favorite part of the pool.
Louisa said that the entire crew deserves the credit.
Louisa researched on line, she talked to several pool companies and she read
customers' comments on line. Her research led her to believe that San Juan
manufactures the best brand of fiberglass pools and it is competitively priced
considering the quality and the features of the products.
